MEET KRYS

Guided by her love of Earth stewardship, permaculture, food freedom, self-empowered wellness, and of course delicious food, Krys is the heart and soul behind Rewild Kitchen.

By enjoying meals that are centered in connection and reciprocity, we cultivate a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of our food systems and the generous gifts of nature.

To gather around a meal is a form of ceremony. It is a space where nourishment, gratitude, and connection is honored, and wholesome ingredients grown in living soil are the language.

Since 2014, I’ve been devoted to guiding folks back to the wisdom of nature through storytelling, curiosity, and delicious food. As a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant, Folk Herbalist, Permaculturist, and soon to be student of Homeopathy, I’ve supported clients in reclaiming their health through whole foods, lifestyle, and nature-based practices.

My path has taken me across continents to study indigenous agricultural practices, craft farm-to-table menus in eco-villages from Hawaii to Guatemala, and teach about the magic of wild fermentation and home composting.

Upon returning to my homeland during the peak of the pandemic, Rewild Kitchen was born as a weaving of all that I love. And a place where food is celebrated as medicine, where tradition meets curiosity, where remembrance is found through self-empowered healing, and where we return to the seasons through taste, relationship, and reverence was found.

When I’m not blending up botanical lattes, in the garden, or fermenting something funky on the counter, you can find me hosting workshops and retreats, writing poems for bugs, making remedies in my apothecary, and deliciously working on my first book.
